Rated 4 out of 5 by Millie2024 from Good excess and space. Fridge works good . Water could be colder and faster . Ice grinds up to much and does not give you cubes but crushed ice. Have not had time to review owners manual to see if adjustments can be made. Switch to turn ice making off would be better place in fridge area as when ice tray is full it’s hard to get out to turn switch off.

Had an issue with the water flow being slow (didn't use the coiled water line inside the fridge). Called for support and while the agent wasn't able to troubleshoot the issue with my fridge on the phone, she was able to dispatch a technician for on-site service the next day to look at the problem.

We had replaced our Kitchen Aid of 16 years (not old enough) with a Whirlpool approx four to five months ago. We had four service calls relevant to products freezing. Eventually the Whirlpool needed to be replaced and we chose this this Maytag. The Maytag is superior quality inside yet the actual construction of the unit looks very similar. Thanks to my dealer Nickerson's Appliances for looking after us. At the end of the. day, time will tell.

Then it fell apart and I got the warranty run around because there was no money whirlpool could get out of me anymore. About a month with no working fridge. Most companies would replace it and try to keep a semblance of responsibility but not whirlpool.
