Quiet and cleans well
We bought this unit about 1/2 year ago, and after a few times it quit. A repairman came and diagnosed the problem and several weeks later (the part had to come from the US) it was repaired under warranty and it has been working very well since then - quiet and cleans well!

It is working well, and I have no complaints. I have tried a few other brands over the years and have found that this brand is the bebest. We have horrible well water, no filtering system and the dishes come out clean and basically spot free. The quick cycle (1hour) is great hardly ever use other cycles. No food build up inside as it goes into the chopper and away. I am very pleased with this model.

So quiet, so sleek…
My new Maytag dishwasher is part of my total Maytag appliance package for my newly renovated kitchen. With an open plan great room, having a really quiet dishwasher is important. This model truly brings meaning to the term “whisper quiet”. I really don’t notice that it’s running unless I listen closely. It’s a perfect match to the fridge and slide in range. Overall, the appearance is sleek and modern.

Excellent dishwasher!
Finally a dishwasher that delivers. I never rinse off anything. Just put the dirty dishes in. Presto! An hour later, everything is sparkling clean.
I only use the quick wash as the normal is over 2 hours. The quick wash is only 1 hour and seems to enough. The machine is quiet.

Prior to purchasing this dishwasher (Model Number: MDB4949SKZ), I read every review I could find. Most were 5 stars, but there were a couple of concerns that others had noted. One concern was water droplets were left on both the dishes and inside door. I have found just the opposite. There are two different dry cycles you can select. (short or long) I've experimented with both cycles and the dishes/inside door always come out completely dry. Another concern was the rack tines didn't fold down to adjust for different size dishes etc. For me, this is a non-issue and all my dishes fit properly. As for cleaning, my dishes, pots and pans, silverware, etc. are coming out spotless and I couldn't be happier. It's also very quiet. Based on my results, I would highly recommend this dishwasher.

Brand continues to shine!
After having my previous Maytag dishwasher for many years it was a no trainer on purchasing another Maytag. This model meets all my needs and expectations. Dishes come out spotless and the 1 hr wash is sufficient enough to get the job done without increasing my utility bills. Maytag has been a stable in my home and my mom's and will continue to be in my children's homes as well. Thank you Maytag!

Quiet as a Mouse!
Love everything about this dishwasher. It is the quietest one I have ever owned. And that’s saying a lot since I’ve used many from the time they were first invented. The only drawback I could mention is that I wish the cutlery tray could be positioned either to the side or to the front. Even though the tray is portable, which I really like, as I find it easy to empty this way, I wish it sat along the front of the door opening. This is because often I just want to throw a spoon or fork in and because it sits along the side I have to open the door completely to do so. One other feature I like is the extra height for the top rack. Makes it more useful for larger items.

I Love It!
I moved into my renovated condominium six months ago. I replaced the old dishwasher with a new Maytag stainless steel tub dishwasher with Dual Power Filtration. It is super quiet and cleans the dishes and pots and pans beautifully. It is spacious and the rack system functions flawlessly. I love it.
